Welcome to the worlds of Warhammer, a vast and thrilling hobby of collecting, building, painting, and playing with armies of incredible miniatures. Your adventure begins with a choice between two spectacular settings. Will you battle in the grim darkness of the 41st Millennium in Warhammer 40,000, commanding genetically-engineered Space Marines, bizarre alien races, and the daemonic forces of Chaos? Or will you forge your legend in the high-fantasy Age of Sigmar, a mythical cosmos where gods and monsters clash, and knights in lightning-forged armour battle hordes of Orruks and legions of the undead? The journey starts with a box of highly detailed plastic miniatures. The creative process of assembling your warriors and bringing them to life with paint is a core part of the experience, allowing you to create a unique army that is entirely your own. Once painted, your army is ready for the tabletop. Warhammer is a game of strategy and wits, where you and an opponent command your forces across a battlefield, rolling dice to determine the outcome of bloody charges, desperate firefights, and epic magical duels. Beyond the game, a universe of epic stories awaits in hundreds of novels. So, pick a faction and welcome to the battle!
