Scotland Yard needs a team of 3 to 6 daredevil detectives who need to chase, corner and dodge to capture Mr. X while he presents the detectives with problems from which they have to deduce his location. This game promotes discussions on how the detectives should proceed and only if they work together will they be able to corner Mr. X. Only through player interaction can players deduce Mr. X's exact location, while Mr. X has to create more possibilities than the detectives to escape capture.
